Trivium

Trivium is a synchronous stream cipher algorithm that was introduced in 2006 by Christophe De Cannière and Bart Preneel. It is designed to provide strong encryption for lightweight and resource-constrained devices, making it suitable for applications such as RFID tags, sensor networks, and other embedded systems.

Zyxx Trivium IP (Intellectual Property) has those key features :

  • Small Resource Requirements : 1500 LUT, 1400 ALM
  • Full standard support : Zyxx Trivium supports full specification of the Trivium standard
  • AXI4 compatible interface can be added as an option
